My Miracles

My cute little sister mentioned in her post how much she loves Sarah McLachlan and it reminded me of how I enjoy her music as well. One of my favorite songs of hers (maybe of any song) is "Ordinary Miracle," ... the new #1 on my playlist.

This song ALWAYS makes me cry! It reminds me of all of the miracles in my life. (Cheesy, I know) Greg and I have been married for a LONG time and have been through alot together. He is my rock and very best friend. The words also perfectly express how I felt in FINALLY becoming a mom ... the greatest miracle in my life. And while I have felt a little sad lately in how fast Kate and Josh are growing up, I realize that each day is a blessing and I'm just trying to soak it all in. To the other miracles in my life ... my family and friends ... I love you all! Thanks for being such a special part of my life.

I also love this song because it helps me to remember that when you're having a crappy day, the sun will come up again and you'll have a better day tomorrow. And maybe it won't be tomorrow ... maybe in a week or two, but things will get better.

Okay ... enough of my ramblings. But as my friend has said, that's the beauty of having your own blog. You are free to say what you want because you are the queen of your own personal space.
