Kindergarten Registration

Okay ... I cannot believe this, but I actually signed my baby up for Kindergarten yesterday! Can this really be? Where in the world did all that time go? Now, I must admit that part of me is happy because he LOVES school and is SO busy that I know this will be fun for him. Plus, it does allow me a few hours of running around time. But it honestly makes me sad because he's not a baby or toddler anymore ... he's my little man.

The good thing about them getting older is they seem to be more and more fun everyday. That's not to say that there aren't days where they're super naughty and I'm about to pull my hair out. But I love them both beyond imagination and plus ... they always make me laugh.

On our way to church the other day, it was starting to rain. As we drove past the golf course, I heard Josh in the back seat saying, to no one but himself, "Today sure wouldn't be a very good day to go golfing. Plus, you should never go golfing on Sunday. On Sunday you should always go to church and learn the word of God." Apparently he's been listening in Primary.

And then on Tuesday he and I were at the church setting up for Relief Society. No one else was there yet and I was busy doing RS stuff. But I heard him pretending like he was calling the plays for a Jazz game and it went something like this: "Kyle Korver passes it to Josh, Josh dribbles it down the court, he shoots and scores! Jazz win!" What a riot!

So, to all my fellow mothers of soon-to-be Kindergarteners ... hang in there and on the first day of school, call me and we'll got get a diet coke together!

Jill,
That Josh is too cute. I can't wait till he goes pro. I better start saving all of my pictures of him and Drew. They could be worth alot of money someday.

I am so glad you are feeling the same way. I wish we lived closer so they could go to school with each other, or so we could at least be sad with each other!

I can't believe he is going to kindergarten! He's too little! Wasn't he just born like, oh, 8 months ago?
