Behind ... AGAIN ... and probably will be for a while!
Okay ... so I'm WAY behind on blogging ... AGAIN, and I don't see myself getting caught up anytime soon. I still have posts to do from the end of the school year, Kindergarten graduation, and so on. But I figure I have a good excuse ... I have a new baby and I can't help it! I spend TONS of timing just holding and staring at her. So, there you go!
I thought I'd quickly post a few pictures from Father's Day. Greg is now the proud daddy of THE cutest kiddos EVER! I am SO grateful for him and the way that he loves our kids. I love you Gregor ... more and more each year! Happy Father's Day!

I love these 4 with ALL of my heart!

Greg and 2 of his 3 girls!

Could these two look any more alike? Best buddies!

Emersyn's first photo shoot
My little sister, Amy, and her precious babe came to visit Miss E when she was only 4 days old. Thankfully she also brought her camera (she never leaves home with out it ... really, she doesn't ... and I'm glad). SO, we quickly went to work prepping Eme for her first big photo shoot. Thanks Am! I LOVE the pictures! Here's a little peek at Miss Emersyn Grace Hardman!

An undeniable bond
One week ago right now, Greg and I were rushing Heide to the hospital with a prayer in our hearts that all would go well for Heide and for Eme. It was a night that I will never forget.
All my life I've wondered what it would be like to be in the delivery room, but I had convinced myself that I would probably not get the chance for that experience. Not true. Last Sunday night/Monday morning was one of THE most spiritual and sacred events of my life. I will forever be thankful to my Heavenly Father and to Heide for this amazing opportunity!
My love for and admiration of Heide (and all birth moms) increased a hundred fold that night. Not only was she going to "labor" for hours to bring a child into the world, but she was laboring to bring MY child into the world. As I watched her bravely and calmly suffer in pain, I was amazed. Amazed at her strength. Her courage. Her love. I felt humbled to be there with her and to provide even the smallest bit of support to her. It was truly a life changing experience for me and has formed a bond between Heide and I forever!
When I saw little tiny Emersyn for the first time ... I fell completely in love! It was a very powerful moment and I could feel the presence of our Heavenly Father. How grateful I am that He has allowed me, through the love and help of 3 wonderful women, to be a mother!
No words can describe the feelings in my heart. It is overwhelming and yet, I feel so incredibly peaceful! We have waited for this day for so long and I can hardly believe it's here. I am savoring each and every moment and thanking the Lord for my blessings!
Thanks to all of our friends and family for your love and support for the past few years. Thank you for your prayers ... for us and for Heide. We love and appreciate you so much!

Another miracle has entered my life
It's happened again ... I have experienced another miracle in my life. Her name is Emersyn Grace Hardman. She was born on Monday, June 8th at 4:10 a.m. and weighed 5 lbs. 5 oz. and is 18 1/2 inches long. As you can see, she is GORGEOUS and I am COMPLETELY in love!

I cannot put into words the amazing experience that we have just had the past few days. I am humbled beyond any comprehension and can never adequately express how grateful I am for this blessing in my life and the life of my family. And as you might imagine, I am emotional and a bit scatter brained. So, let me just leave you with these precious pictures of our newest addition. When I can gather my thoughts and my emotions, I will tell you the whole story. For now I'll just say ... thank you dear Father in Heaven for blessing my life once again.

Any day now!
All I have to say is ... Miss Eme could be here any time and I'm feeling nervous, excited, happy, excited, scared, worried and oh, did I mention ... EXCITED! I'm not exactly the most patient person and I like knowing precisely when things are going to happen. SO, I'm doing my best to keep busy and not let my mind get too ahead of me. Wish me luck! For now, please keep Emersyn, Heide and the whole darn family in your prayers and we'll keep you posted!

Happy Birthday Mom!
Today is my Mom's 60th Birthday! She probably won't like me telling you her age, but I think that she's lived such an amazing life that we should celebrate those years. So, sorry Mom!

I know that everyone thinks that their mom is the greatest, but guess what? Mine really is! She is the most kind, loving, compassionate, gentle, courageous and incredible woman that I've ever met! She has great faith, strength and an ability to look for the good in everyone and every situation. For as long as I can remember she has left me simple love notes, whether it was the first day of school, the day of dance tryouts, when I went off to college or just a little "thank you and I love you" on the bed when she leaves my house. She is a without a doubt the cutest Nana ever! My kids treasure the packages they get in the mail from Nana every holiday or just to say that she loves them "to the moon and back."
I love you Mom, more than you'll ever know. Thank you for ALWAYS being there for me, through the good times and the bad. I have always known, and still know, that I can come to you for help, advice or a listening ear. You are my example and I hope to be the kind of Mom and Nana that you are.
Happy Birthday! Sending you lots and lots of love,
Jill
