Happy Birthday Mom!

Today is my Mom's 60th Birthday! She probably won't like me telling you her age, but I think that she's lived such an amazing life that we should celebrate those years. So, sorry Mom!


I know that everyone thinks that their mom is the greatest, but guess what? Mine really is! She is the most kind, loving, compassionate, gentle, courageous and incredible woman that I've ever met! She has great faith, strength and an ability to look for the good in everyone and every situation. For as long as I can remember she has left me simple love notes, whether it was the first day of school, the day of dance tryouts, when I went off to college or just a little "thank you and I love you" on the bed when she leaves my house. She is a without a doubt the cutest Nana ever! My kids treasure the packages they get in the mail from Nana every holiday or just to say that she loves them "to the moon and back."

I love you Mom, more than you'll ever know. Thank you for ALWAYS being there for me, through the good times and the bad. I have always known, and still know, that I can come to you for help, advice or a listening ear. You are my example and I hope to be the kind of Mom and Nana that you are.
