We had such a fun Easter weekend. My mom came down to visit, which I always enjoy! On Saturday we went to watch Josh's last basketball game and Greg and I went to see some friends sealed in the temple to their 3 sweet daughters. Then my mom and I "kidnapped" my adorable niece and nephew for the afternoon. We took them to the park to have lunch and then to the duck pond to feed the ducks some bread (and a few rocks). That night we fired up the barbeque and had our first hamburgers of the season. YUM! We ended the night by coloring Easter eggs and eating ice cream sandwiches. What a mess, but so much fun!
The fun continued on Sunday morning with Kate and Josh opening their Easter baskets. Then we got all dressed in our new Sunday clothes and headed to church. After church, "Nana" headed home and we went to Jeff and Mel's and had a delicious Easter dinner! (Thanks Mel!) It was a GORGEOUS and fun filled weekend stocked full of memories!

Looks like you guys had a great weekend! I wish we were all closer so we could do more. Zack was the only kid arounf for the Easter Egg hunt :( Keep enjoying your good weather!

O.K. cant sleep, so thought I would blog. The pictures of the kids are so cute. I am glad that you had such a great Easter weekend. Thanks again for such a great dinner. You are the best ever! Sappy am I! You know how I emailed you a couple of weeks ago asking for Easter ideas for my YW? You sent me one, I used it, I and all the YW loved it and now..this week we are talking about the importance of extended families...I came to your blog for idea's! I cried like a baby with appreciation of my extended family as I read the things you had written. I'm so blessed to have a great family. I hate that I am so far away....but really it is just in miles, because mentally and emotionally I still feel so very close to all of you. Thanks for sharing always the things that count.
