This is what matters ...

The other night after FHE we decided to walk to the park and let the kids play in the splash pad for a few minutes. It seemed like no big deal ... just another family night ... 40 quick minutes at the park. But as Greg and I watched the kids and the huge grins on their faces, we couldn't help but smile ourselves. And then as they hopped back on their bikes, chatting about how much fun that was, and we put Eme back in the stroller and started to walk home, we commented to each other that this was one of those priceless moments. Simple, uncomplicated, unplanned, inexpensive, TOGETHER moments. They're growing up SO fast and I'm VERY glad we shared this memorable night at the park as a family because this is what really matters most ... US!
