First, Kate auditioned for the St. George Ballet Company's Nutcracker and she got in! I didn't find out until she was at school, so I decided to surprise her. She came in the house and I asked her to make sure that I put Eme's bottle in the fridge. She casually walked over and noticed this note on the fridge. As you can tell, she was VERY excited! Way to go Sis! We're so proud of you and can't wait to see you perform in December!
Next up ... Josh man! The other day he came home all proud of himself and shared the following conversation with me:
Josh: "Mom, those girls at school are crazy about me!"
Me: "Oh really! Why?"
Josh: "They LOVE to chase me at recess and one girl even yelled that she loved me today."
Me: "Huh? What did you say?"
Josh: "I just ran away and told her she was crazy."
Me: "That's a good plan son. They aren't trying to kiss you are they?" (Please say no! Please say no!)
Josh: "No. But don't worry mom. I like them chasing me!"
YIKES! Here's my question: Do we lock him up until he's 19 and ready to go on a mission or pray that he doesn't decide he likes to let them catch him? WOW! First grade and girl's chasing him already. He came home last week, running from the bus, and I could tell he was excited about something. Then I noticed the shiny gold crown on his head. The boy couldn't wait to tell me that he had been crowned King for the Day in his class! He was so excited that he had to call and tell Nana, too! Congrats buddy!
Finally, Miss Eme continues to grow and brighten everyone's day! I can't tell who's the most crazy about her - Mom, Dad, Kate or Josh! She smiles all the time and has started cooing at us. I'm just sure that she'll laugh outloud one of these days! We can hardly remember life without her. We love you E!

I can't stand how cute she is...I'm coming to town, and I better get to meet her and kiss on her. I hope I am the first one that she laugh's out loud to!! I love your family and the example they are to us of true happiness and bliss! (tell me it's true!!)

Oh me oh my! I swear Emmy gets cuter by the minute! It makes me miss the days when Olivia was that small! Love you and can't wait to see you next week!!
Sooo cute. I swear, I think of Kate all the time because Ava reminds me so much of her when she was younger. I hope she grows up to be as cute and well adjusted! :) Josh is so handsome and I think Eme makes me excited to have a baby around again! I wish we could be there to see her. Give them all a hug for us! Congrats to Kate, take lots of pictures, my girls will be jealous!
