This past weekend we had to opportunity to go and visit her and Addy. We thought we loved her before, but this weekend made us love and appreciate her even more. We had never met before (at least in this lifetime) and yet we felt as if we have known each other forever. It wasn't awkward. We weren't nervous. It was completely comfortable and we had a GREAT time. We were all very sad when the weekend was over and we had to say our good-byes. But we're thankful to know that this won't be the last time we'll see each other.
Thanks Heide and Addy for letting us come to visit! And thank you for coming into our lives at this particular time for a very special reason - baby Emersyn! We love you!

the pictures are so fun and full of love. adoption is the most amazing process. we meet people that were meant to be family. it is beatiful. heide and her daughter, addy are about the cutest things i have ever seen. i hope that heide will continue to feel peace and comfort during these next few months. honestly, she found the best family... and you will forever be her dearest friend. what a comfort it is to know that by placing emersyn with your family it is not saying "goodbye". with adoption we are forever connected. i love it.
