I'M A NEW AUNT!
My little sister and her husband have been waiting for this day for 7 years! They tried for a long time and then decided to go the adoption route. It's been a long and difficult process for them, but I think that they'd agree that "BABES" is very much worth the wait! She is INCREDIBLY gorgeous and sweet and I can hardly get enough of her! I just want to eat her up!
She came home to her mommy and daddy on Friday night. I gave serious thought to jumping in the car right then and there, but decided I should probably wait til morning. So, the kids and I jetted up on Saturday afternoon and I loved her the whole weekend. I just wish she (and her mom and dad) lived LOTS closer ... like right down the street.
We feel SO incredibly blessed as a family! She fits right in and we already love her beyond words. She is one lucky girl because she has two of the greatest people I know as parents! We love you Am and Cas! Good luck and know that we are praying for you and your sweet "BABES!"
If by some remote chance I haven't already emailed you pictures (which I can't imagine), leave me a comment and I'll email you some.

Jill- we're TOTALLY out of the loop- can you email us details?!? We had no idea any of this was even in the works. Did they pick a name yet? When does all the legal stuff get finished? We couldn't possibly be more excited for her! Love you guys!
Is "Babes" really her name? How fun and exciting is that? I would LOVE to see pictures! It seems it all happened so fast, even though they have been waiting for 7 years! CONGRATULATIONS to them!
I want to see pictures and any update you have. I am hating being so far away... I too would love to just kiss on that little "Babes" and share the happiness that is going on. Believe me, we are as excited as can be even a thousand miles away....it's so amazing to me how much we all love her just through emails, phone calls and pictures.
And how lucky is she to have "Aunt Jill" in her life who will love her as much as you do? What a great example you will always be to her! And the cousins? The list just goes on and on...

This is so exciting and we are so happy for Amy and Casey. I know our whole family is excited to think Aunt Jill will be able to help her Mom make another sweet spirit welcome in this world.
